My blog, “federal prisoner 30664”, is named after O’Henry’s prison serial number. Like O’Henry, I moved from the east coast to Austin, TX to find myself writing for newspapers, journals, and working with independent theatre companies. The blog is updated on a regular basis and offers opinions, reviews, links to the most recent publications, and my wear bouts if I am traveling. Each entry features a segment called “Five Easy Pieces” and a “Coda” often dealing with random thoughts and snippets of dialogue that never made it to final drafts of other works.
